How it works in brief:
An important cause of ageing and wrinkles is dehydration of epidermis and dermis, causing a reduction of collagen protein and elastin in dermis and reduced volume of subcutaneous fat tissue, both of which lead decrease in elasticity of skin.
How acupuncture works:
By permanently fibroblast, increasing their productivity and improving microcirculation on the face, acupuncture reduces the dehydration of the skin. Stimulation of certain points can increase SOD* in blood and tissues whereby slowing down the ageing process.
( * SOD is an enzyme that has anti oxidant properties)
